These License Terms outline how content submitted by artists (“Authors”) is licensed for use on The Artful Odyssey platform. By uploading content, you agree to the terms below.
2. License Grant
By submitting content, you grant The Artful Odyssey a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
Display your artwork on the platform
Promote your artwork through online and offline marketing
Facilitate the sale and certification of your artwork
This license is limited to the operational needs of the platform and does not transfer ownership.
3. Author Rights
Authors retain full intellectual property rights and ownership of their submitted work.
Authors may license their work to other platforms or entities, provided it doesn’t violate exclusivity clauses (if any apply).
4. Platform Rights
The Artful Odyssey reserves the right to:
Showcase selected artworks in curated galleries, newsletters, and exhibitions
Display artist names, bios, and artwork metadata as part of marketing and cataloging
Remove content that violates copyright laws or community standards
5. Sales and Commercial Use
Any commercial use or sale of artwork by the platform is limited to the scope of the license granted
Proceeds from artwork sales are shared with authors per the agreed terms (see Sales Policy)
Certificates of Authenticity issued are valid only under this license agreement
6. Termination of License
Authors may remove their work from the platform at any time, thereby terminating the license
Termination will not affect past transactions or the validity of issued certificates
7. Disclaimer
The Artful Odyssey is not liable for unauthorized use of content outside of the platform by third parties. We take reasonable measures to protect uploaded work but cannot guarantee complete security against misuse.
